Lee G. McCarty

 

Chief Executive Officer

Prior to becoming CEO of Location Services, Lee McCarty formed an independent consulting practice supporting private equity companies that focused on auto finance/consumer banking, collections, repossessions and loss mitigation. McCarty also spent 30 years at Ally Financial, ultimately holding leadership roles in several facets of the auto finance servicing business as Executive Vice President of Customer Care, Loss Mitigation (Deficiency, Bankruptcy & Legal Collections) and Collections of Ally’s U.S. auto and bank portfolios. He holds an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Science in business management with a minor in Economics.

Eric Gerdes

 

President and Chief Operating Officer

Eric Gerdes has over 20 years of auto finance expertise, with an emphasis on credit risk, finance, analytics, operations and compliance — all with Ally Financial (formerly GMAC). Prior to joining Location Services, Gerdes served as an executive for compliance at Ally Financial after numerous years serving as Executive Vice President of Loss Mitigation. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Indiana University, Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Winona State University.

Jeremiah Worthington

 

Chief Transformation Officer

Previously Senior Vice President of Servicing Transformation at CIOX Health, Jeremiah Worthington was responsible for operational strategies that made use of workforce optimization and digital strategies. Before CIOX Health, Worthington spent more than 10 years at Ally Financial (formerly GMAC), holding various senior leadership roles in loss mitigation, special servicing, operational excellence and consumer systems. Prior to GMAC, Jeremiah spent several years at GE as a leader within their renowned Lean Six Sigma and Quality Management teams. He holds a Master of Business Administration, Operations Management degree from California State University, San Bernardino and a Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing from the University of California, Riverside.

Chief Client Relations Officer

Jerry Kroshus has over 30 years of experience in the auto finance servicing space, managing companies and teams specializing in auto refinance, remarketing, titles, collections, recovery and skip. He has served as President and CEO of Auto Approve as well as President and CEO of PAR North America. He has also held senior roles at HSBC Auto Finance and Citigroup after beginning his career at GMAC. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from North Dakota State University.

Jim Smith

Chief Risk, Data & Analytics Officer

A strategic business leader who uses analytics to mitigate losses, drive profitable growth and achieve business objectives, Jim Smith has over 20 years of banking and financial services experience. He has led large-scale teams with a focus in risk management, modeling and analytics.  Prior to Location Services, Jim served as Model Validation Executive at Ally Financial as well as Senior Vice President, Decision Sciences. He has also held risk and analytics leadership roles at GE Capital and U.S. Bank. Smith earned both a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Cincinnati. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wilmington College.

Chief Financial Officer

With over 25 years of experience in the auto finance industry, Karen Gordon provides a wealth of strong leadership — particularly in leading multifunctional teams through complex transitions. She has worked in capital markets, forecasting and budgeting, corporate accounting, field operations and business development. Prior to Location Services, Karen held roles such as Senior Director with GMAC and Executive Director with Ally Financial. She earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lake Superior State University.

Shelby Crawford

Vice President, Legal and Compliance

Over the course of more than 17 years, Shelby Crawford has honed her legal and compliance skills in the loss mitigation arena. Crawford has developed extensive experience within this highly litigious field, working as a licensed attorney in the State of California. She is skilled in torts, arbitration, trial practice, legal research and legal writing. Prior to working for Location Services, Crawford served as a senior litigation trial attorney for Zurich American Insurance Company and the law firm Harrington, Foxx, Dubrow & Canter. She holds a Juris Doctorate from Southwestern School of Law and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California.

Chris Cline brings over 20 years of experience in logistics and human resources to Location Services. He has led high-volume human resource and recruiting teams in both the United States and Canada, and holds multiple professional human resources certifications. He is well versed in organizational development, talent management and acquisition, internal restructuring, succession planning, employee engagement/relations, change management and employment law. Prior to joining Location Services, Cline was Director of Human Resources at XPO Logistics. He holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science, Health Care Administration from Eastern Michigan University.
